Molokai is what Hawaii used to be. It is quiet and beautiful. It is certainly not crowded - the whole island only has 7000 people and there are very few tourists. The people here are friendly - maybe this is because of the strong Hawaiian influence - more people here are of Hawaiian decent than on any other major Hawaiian island. Molokai is just a 20 minute flight from Honolulu with 10 scheduled flights daily. It is easy to get to but hard to leave.
